OZZ-fest 2004
It was nice to see Danny W work his way out of a jam when he walked the first two in the second inning. Sounds like he did a pretty decent job this afternoon.

OZZ-fest 2004
Cautiously optimistic here but Billy Chaos looking solid so far. I think that Rooney and Farmer said it right. I think Koch has gotten out of the mindset that he needs to blow the pitches by batters. He really just needs to focus on hitting his spots. I think Ozzie and Coop have also said this. southsider2k5
Farmer just said Politte's fastball was at 96 mph. Great news! : Anyone else think this will be our closer if Koch's elbow shuts him down? Or will the Sox turn to Damaso?
DonkeyKongerko
Wow at 96mph Politte basically replaces Flash except for that curveball.

southsider2k5
What about Takatsu? Everybody gave up on him? I see Takatsu as a set up man. Granted that is just by hearing what kind of stuff he features. Politte sounds like your protypical closer.
Cali
Wow at 96mph Politte basically replaces Flash except for that curveball. Well it sounds like he has a crisp slider according to Farmer. And if his slider is sharp in Arizona, imagine how sharp it could be in Chicago or other non high elevation places....

We have four potential closer...if one of them would step it up, i dont wanna choose.
DonkeyKongerko
Yeah the only guy of the four that I don't want to see closing is Marte. I think he is FAR too valuable in the left-handed setup role and can also go 2-3 innings once in a while.

Queen Prawn
Paul Konerko (0-2) - Grounds out to short. It looks like some things haven't changed much yet. Still holding out hope that he will improve as time goes by...
