Gene Honda Civic
I'm editting a picture in Photoshop, using one of the lasso tools, When I delete the desired area, it keeps coming up white... In the past it has come up checkered to indicate a transparent background. How do I get this to return on my currrent image? I can open old files and the background is transparent. And I editted another picture, that at first would just go to white when I deleted the area, then without warning started appearing checkered when i deleted. I didn't change any settings. Mr. Showtime
Save it as a PSD. While the image is still open go to select all, then copy it. Then go to File-New, then you'll have the option of having it transparent. I hope that solves the problem. I read it like you started working on something, but once you delete something you get the foreground color.
