Texsox
I am looking for a resource do discuss the stages of acceptance of change in an non scietific context. I am tasked with a presentation on slave narratives and have decided to discuss the stages that a slave might have gone through. Some accepted slavery and didn't try an escape. Some were unhappy and decided to do something (but what? A stage of discovery and planning), and finally action. Is there as pop-psych book out there that discusses this behavior. It is for a Autobiographical Literature class so it need not be a scholarly or scientific work. However, scientific would be prefered.
