SoxFan1
From ESPN.com: Francisco Campos, a Rule 5 draft pickup from Mexico, had seven strikeouts in three innings against a team of D-Backs minor leaguers on March 8, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. "He knows what he's doing," manager Ozzie Guillen told the newspaper. "He's a veteran pitcher, would be a pretty good long reliever out of the bullpen, throws strikes, commands the pitches really well, has a tremendous forkball. I like the kid. He has a good chance." Long Reliever/Starter, he can pitch!

SoxFan1
Its allways great to have some international guys on the team. We have Americans, Canadians, Mexicans, Japanese, Venezuelans, Dominican Republicans, and I believe Columbians.

C.Rector
Campos is also a Rule 5 guy from the Brewers organization. Let's keep him.

All he has to do is stay on AAA's roster all year, IIRC. Anyone know for sure?

elrockinMT
He won't get many more chances. Depends I would think on what the coaching staff saw with his stint besides the massacre. Maybe he was doing something different or there were a lot of seeing eye's? I don't know, but it's still a bit early. However, it can't help him a lot either. I'm usually someone that doesn't take note to one game, but he was pitiful. Every ball was absolutely crushed and everything he threw was absolutely straight. No Velocity, no stuff. It was brutal. He was lucky, he had a couple of shots that were snared by the Sox.
