NUKE_CLEVELAND
Go to the Chicago Blackhawks official site right this second Hawk fans, open up the audio from the Hawks latest drubbing and go to the point right when the second period ends. Pat Foley just ripped Krapotsev a new asshole right on the air and it's funny as hell. You wont be dissappointed.

C.Rector
For those of you who missed it, here's Blackhawkzone.com's transcript: http://www.blackhawkzone.com/news/03110403.php " This is a very happy day Troy. This is a very happy day for this Blackhawk fan because I am never again going to have to see Alexander Karpovtsev in a Blackhawk uniform. You know, Karpovtsev is actually a pretty good defenseman, I am going to qualify my comments by saying that he is a good defenseman (Video footage starts to play on Fox Sports Net Chicago) When he plays, and that is the rub. Because Alexander Karpovtsev looks for any excuse not to play and in his time in Chicago he is the worst excuse for a teammate that I have seen in my two decades of doing this job. A couple of examples: ten minutes before a warmup two weeks ago (Foley talking as Karpotvsev: My shoulder hurts) and forcing a young defenseman who didn't anticipate playing had to scurry into his uniform and dress in the game. He was ready to come back from an ankle injury earlier this season getting set to rejoin the lineup, had a collision in practice. (Foley talking as Karpotvsev: I have a concussion ) Well Doctor Karpotvsev, always had an excuse, always milked the system. He came to the Blackhawks in a trade for Bryan McCabe, who has gone on to be an All Star in Toronto. Even before that, Bryan McCabe was a guy who cared and who tried. The Toronto Players, when that trade was made, we couldn't believe that they got Bryan McCabe for Dean Martin. Let me tell you something, Alexander Karpovtsev doesn't sing and when you are trying to bring along a young team, this is not the kind of veteran you want around young people in any way, shape or form. That deal was one of the worst deals in the history of the Chicago Blackhawks and when Mike Smith writes him memoirs about his time in Chicago, I have the title for that chapter. Disaster! So kudos to Bob Pulford and Dale Tallon for being able to get anything more than a role of tape for this overpaid, underachiever. Alexander Karpovtsev is now the New York Islanders problem and that will be his last National Hockey league stop. He basically in my opinion was a disgrace to the uniform when he was in Chicago. As he leaves Chicago, I have one feeling for Alexander Karpovtsev: Good Riddance!"

C.Rector
Here's the link to the BHZ Audio that works even better, at least on my comp, than the MSNBC one: http://www.blackhawkzone.com/news/PatVKarp.mp3
NUKE_CLEVELAND
Thanks man. Thats a whole lot easier than going and finding it through the real-player audio feed.
slick03
i was actually watching the game live, when he said all of that. I thought maybe he forgot he was on the air or something, but that was the funniest thing ive ever heard from him...i couldnt stop laughing, he is right on the money....i think more or less that was also 6 years of frustration built up also from this franchise...it was good to see some fire from him
southsider2k5
I hate to say this because I think that Foley is the best in the business without a doubt, but that is soooo classless. Rip a guy when he leaves? Be a bigger man than that...That is like jumping someone from behind.

NUKE_CLEVELAND
agreed, they dont need to look any worse, but it still made me laugh If anybody deserved a tounge lashing like that it was Krapo. He was as worthless as tits on a boar.
EvilJester99
I think every Hawks fan was saying that very same thing about Karpo all year. I agree Good Riddance!!!

That was evident enough on Blackhawkzone.com when the news broke. These folks were in full on celebration mode. It's like they won the darn Stanley Cup. LOL! EvilJester99
Its been the best news Hawk fans have had in forever. This is been a long suffering. Only time Hawk fans will celebrate as hard is when Wirtz either sells the team or finally drops dead.
SAVVY18
What made it even funnier is that Pat had them show a "Highlight Reel" of Krapo scoring on his own goalie and showed guys blowing past him to score. PAT FOLEY!!!

NUKE_CLEVELAND
IMO Foley is the best annoucer. Totally. He calls a great game, he's got lots of funny little one-liners, he knows the sport inside and out. Here's hoping he's around for a long time. Now, if only Dale Tallon would stop trying to play front office guy and get back to being in the booth with Foley where he belongs.
EvilJester99
One of the best on liners I heard from him was when one of the Hawks this year dumped the puck in Foley says " He got all of that dump in" Man he kills me.
Texsox
I miss Foley. But I really miss Keanon
EvilJester99
I still think they need a coach who can work with these younger players. I think Sutter is a good coach but not with younerg players. He has never been good with the younger guys no matter what team he coached. They need someone like Yawney who can coach them.
