DBAHO Posted March 15, 2004 Share Posted March 15, 2004 THREE young Vietnamese children drowned in the family's well after being left home alone while their parents tended the rice fields, police reported. Ha Van Khuong and his wife left their three daughters - a two-year-old and one-year-old twins - at home while they went to work about 100 metres away in Dak Rlap District in Dak Nong province, some 210km north east of Ho Chi Minh City. The parents had returned by mid-afternoon last week, but found all three children dead in the uncovered well, which was about one metre deep.
