The Critic
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1760409 This is weird. Nobody seems to know much, and they aren't saying what they do know. I hope he's okay - I think he's one of the really good guys in the game.
Chisoxfn
Dang, I hope its nothing too serious. He's always been a class act and that piece on him when he was in Iowa was just impressive. He opened up his house to the fans and anyone else.
SoxAce
Yea I remember when Sportscenter did that piece with him showing his trailor home. He is one hellofa class act and a great personality on and off the field.

YASNY
Do you think the Cubs wished they had Rod Beck available to come out of the bullpen to pitch the 8th inning of Game 6 of the NLCS? :fthecubs
The Critic
Nahhh, you don't take out Tha Franchise when the game is on the line! "Pixie Dust" would've still used "the guys who got him there"....like Dave Veres in Game 7!!! HA. Gotta admit, though, if they happen to get to that position this year, if I were Big Dust I'd feel comfortable trotting LaTroy Hawkins out there in the 8th inning... southsider2k5
I wonder what the problem is? Its too bad, it was a great story with his comeback last year.
