witesoxfan
Jon Rauch - ROY As for rookies we will have....Rauch is one, Olivo, Harris is, Crede is close, and that's about it(unless Almonte breaks with the team at ST).

witesoxfan
I think there is like 60 games played or 45 days on the 25-man roster as well(meaning if 25 of your 45 days came in September, it wouldn't count) I think I have it somewhere...I'll go look for it. witesoxfan
Found it.... Rookie Qualifications: The baseball Writers' Association of America considers a player a rookie unless during the previous season or seasons he has (1) exceeded 130 at-bats or 50.0 innings pitched in the Major Leagues, or (2) accumulated more th an 45 days on the active roster of a Major League club during the 25-man limit that is in effect from Opening Day through August 31. Site I guess 60 games wasn't on there
Chisoxfn
If it is a Sox it will be Jon Rauch and I do like his chances. Otherwise, I'll go with one of the Devil Rays outfielders.

Guest wsc425
I don't like that Japanese players who come to this league are called rookies. Its not fair, considering some are like 35 years old.
