If you want Autographs, stand near home plate where the players walk in or go by the dugout. Before they open the gates, go to the far left of the park and wait at the fence for players.

Thats what I used to do when I'd get autographs and I used to get a ton. Most importantly know the players names and be courteous.

Didn't spend anytime in Tuscon (outside of the game) so don't really know the hot spots. I spent all my time down in the Phoenix/Tempe area.

Yeah, we're staying in Scottsdale 3 nights and Tuscon 2 so it will be a little of both. What do you think are the best parks to go to in the Phoenix area? Besides Ho-ho kam cause I wont be goin there.

HoHoKam is pretty crappy. Basic food...Hot Dogs, Nachos, and 10 buck beer.

The Sox facility is one of my favorites, they got grills all over the place and great grub. The Giants facility is also real nice and the Brewers and Rangers/Royals have awesome facilities, but they aren't necessarily exciting to watch.

I do like Angel stadium a lot. Its a few years older then some of the stadiums, but still very nice and plenty of grills going as well.

Oakland was just renovated but is still kind of lousy. The Padres and Mariners share a pretty sweet facility out in Peoria, but thats a bit of a drive.

When your in Scottsdale you'll find that there are a done of things to do. Restaurants everywhere, lots of beautiful girls, giant ass malls, and whatever else you can do.

If someone is over 21...then I'm sure there are plenty of bars and stuff, but I'm still a month away from that :)

Be prepared to have a HELL OF A LOT OF FUN :cheers

Yea! That's about all I'm concerned with doing other than watching some baseball. I can't wait! :headbang

Recommendations from a guy who was just there (me!):

Tucson: right next to the entrance gate of Univ. of Arizona (Tucson), go to Gentle Ben's brewpub and a great bar called the Frog and Firkin. Both are great. Then, at night, go on 4th Avenue, it's right near the two bars listed above. Go to O'Malley's, Maloney's, and The Shanty. They are all right next to one another. If you're looking for GREAT looking women, this is where you want to be.

Scottsdale: Easy choices. Off of 5th Avenue, right downtown Scottsdale, there is an area of clubs/bars/nighclubs, etc. Some of the most gorgeous women I've ever seen. Anyone at your hotel can tell you how to get there. Personal recommendation: Thursday night Ladies Night at Axis/Radius, you can type it into a search engine and check out their web site. We were there last Thursday and it was no cover before 9:00 and $1 Red Bull and Vodka until 10:30. We also went to a place called Suede directly across the street from Axis/Radius. Wait until you see the servers, wow.

There's also a place around the corner called Myst, another fantastic place. On Saturday nite we went to a place a block or so away called Martini Ranch, they have everything ... 3 levels, dancing, an 80's cover band, etc. Then, when Scottsdale has last call at 1 a.m. (yes, everything is over at 1 a.m.), go right across the street from Martini Ranch to a place called Mickey's Hangover, everyone goes there and sobers up. Great music, lots of places to sit, food if you want it ... a very cool place to unwind or chat it up.

For nightlife, Scottsdale is A+ !!!!
