Reinsdorf is now commenting on the 2:00 start times for Sunday games. He said especially for people who attend church will have an easier time getting out to the game.

 

Mike Jackson now pitching for the Sox.

Pickler fielder's choice, Newhan safe at 2nd on Dransfeldt error.

 

Jason Conti fielder's choice, Pickler out at 2nd.

Reed walked. (Does a great job of working the count)

 

Burke doubled down the right field line, Reed to 3rd base.

 

Uribe struck out swinging.

 

Nelson grounded out to 1st, Reed scored.

 

Sweeney lined a single to center, Burke scored. (This guy, wow)

 

Dransfeldt grounded to 3rd, Sweeney forced at 2nd.

 

Top 8th: 14-3 Sox.

Alexander doubled down the LF line, Allen to 3rd.

 

Ardoin reached 1st on an error by Uribe, Allen scored.

 

Fox fouled out to 3rd (nice play by Burke)

Patrick Boyd grounded out to 3rd.

Nossek is gonna be like advance scouting now.

OK now that really convinces me that there were personality differences with Guillen and Nossek. If he was having so many health problems that he couldn't sit on a bench for three hours, why would he take a job where he is always going to be traveling and on the road?
