Steff
Had a fabulous time. Baseball was great. I have to say of all the ST facilities I have been at (16 of them).. the Braves home at Disney is by far the best. Waaaaay better than TEP. And the people (fans) there are so polite and very into the games. Saw the Braves and St. Louis play yesterday and it was the best game we saw. I got to talk to Smoltz for a bit yesterday, a real class act. Other than that we got very tan. The weather was perfect.

Dodgertown is great for history and atmosphere, but the complex over at the Mouse is really nice. Glad you had a good trip.

Glad you had a good trip. We went to Tampa, Clearwater, Dunedin (sp?), St. Pete, and Orlando for baseball, squeezing Sea World and Bush Gardens in as well. We were on the go all week. It's all a blur

Texsox
Is being doable, the key to meeting celebrities?
Capn12
Wow I wanted to get to Arizona this year, but with a Vegas trip looming in 4 weeks, it wasn't economically feasible. The nly time I've ever been to ST was back in 1992 in good ole Saeasota. I loved that place. To a 15 year old(at the time), I was amazed that I could go outside the main park, and have 3 other games goin on AND see teh MLB guys that weren't playing in the main game that day getting some BP in. That was the first time I stood beside Black Jack...jeez he is a tall guy, or maybe its because I was 15 :>)

MarksDad
Welcome back Ms. Steph! Pat and I were in Tucson for the past 10 days with Mark. Sure had a lot of fun and saw a lot of good ball. Best was when the Sox whooped the Cub's asses big time, YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Problem with Tucson is the only green I saw was either at TEP, a golf course, or the teeth (sometimes tooth) of some homeless dude. s***, you can't swing a dead cat without stumbling over them. Thing that pisses me off more than anything is the my (and your) tax dollars are paying benefits like food stamps and medical bills for these JO's and taint but a micro-percentage of them that have green cards. Oh well, only in America. Pops

And you're totally right about the homeless. The Waffle House down the street from Starr Pass is filled with them. That's the one thing I hate about staying there. It's close and they have great food there.. but the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. Say hi to "Ma" for us, and we'll see you in 3 weeks. Steff
By the way.. for those that were kind enough to ask about my grama.. she's doing much better than expected. Her mental state was what we were most worried about, but she's doing great! She's already started walking on her own (short distances without a walker or cane) and she's up to lifting 12lbs with the "new hip".
