Anyone who pitches 7 complete innings without giving up even so much as a single earned run is pretty good. As for Mike Jackson getting it, he's just one injury away from being confined to a wheelchair. It would be a waste of a roster spot to ink him in the bullpen. He has given up 5 runs, 4 of them earned. 4 ER in 6 IP is an ERA of 6.00...4(# of ER allowed)*9(number of innings in a game)=36/6(number of innings pitched)=6.00 ERA. I don't see why he deserves a job after pitching 7 innings in Spring training this year? He stunk last year, walked everyone he didn't let hit off him and has never been all that much more impressive at AAA? This is Kenny's guy getting a shot he doesn't deserve.
