Controlled Chaos
I wrote this last year to piss of some friends....figured it was about time to bring it out again. Twas the championship series and all through the city fans came out cheering loud and not feeling pity After winning game four they all felt the vibe players and fans thought alike, Why even play a game five? Well five came and went without a run scored let's just do it at Wrigley we can party some more. As the 8th inning ended they all started to leave thoughts of goats and black cats and the infamous Steve Maybe God is to blame for an over 50 year drought they were so dam close only needed 5 outs. Well on to game seven With Wood on the bump This is the chance to get over the hump On Sammy On Gonzo, On Alou and Ramirez On Kerry, On Prior, On Matt and Dave Veres and then it all ended with a 9-6 score Imagine the sadness Imagine the horror A measly six hits.... In this crucial game but somehow the fans find Bartman to blame The fish didn't give up The Cubs thought they'd coast through Out hit and out pitched give credit where it's due They choked in the end without much of a fight it always seems to happen it's a pretty common sight but we all heard the schrieks coming from far and near yeah maybe we lost, but just "WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR!!!!" :fthecubs :fthecubs :fthecubs

Texsox
What a terrible poem. Aren't these are friends who cheer the Bears, Bulls, and Hawks with us? Are they not our friends who would jump in a minute on a Sox bandwagon a cheer along with us? :fthecubs NO! The Bastards! They're the assholes who cut us off on the Ike. They are the idiots that jump in the other lane when they see a merge and try to get in way up there, they're the MFers who get in the correct change lane without any change and then want to cut over. They're the ones who bring the crying kids into the restaurant when I'm trying to eat in peace. They're the ones tat like to take a nice beer leak in a trough like some animal. They are the ones who take 18 items in the 10 items and less lane at Jewel. :fyou By the way, Great Poem

TLAK
I'm trying to help a rabid grub fan pal of mine cope with poor Mark Prior's injury. I thought some information I pulled from the internet would help. Achilles tendinitis is inflammation of the Achilles tendon. Achilles tendinitis can be caused by: Overpronation during excercise. Wearing high heels often and changing between high heels all day and flat shoes or low running shoes in the evening. Continuing to stress an inflamed Achilles tendon can cause rupture of the tendon —it snaps, often with a distinctive popping sound. A ruptured Achilles tendon makes it virtually impossible to walk. An Achilles tendon rupture is usually treated with surgical repair or wearing a cast. Does anybody know what overpronation means? If its like banging off, this guy's a goner. I see high heels can contribute, perhaps Mark should get together with Kerry and pick out some sensible shoes. I hope this comforts by bro. Pronation is walking on the outsides of your feet. Supiniation is falling to the inside of your feet. Look at the bottom of an old pair of your gym shoes. If the outsides are more worn you are a pronater, if it is the insides you are a supinator. Sounds like in Priors case he is so far to the outside of his feet that is affects his achillies.
