Here is a quote fron Kenny from cbs.sportsline rumor mill.

After acquiring outfielder Timo Perez from the Mets, Chisox GM Ken Williams told the Sun-Times another deal could be in store, but he is waiting for at least a few more exhibition games. "There are a couple of intriguing things out there, and I'm still waiting for one particular person to pick up the pace a little bit, in terms of them getting ready for the season," Williams said. "If they don't pick up the pace, then you might see something different. But at this point, we'll have to let it play out."

DO you think he is talking about Schonewise as the guy that needs to pick up the pace?

This is an old quote, but I haven't heard anything lately and you're not going to see any significant moves before the beginning of the season. The team is playing well right now at the right time of spring and KW wants to see what this team has before doing anything.

shoney needs to pick it up soon, chances are he'll settle in as the 5th

starter & not pitch much in the early season.....Buehrle & Garland are

lights out great right now, Danny Wright is pitching well & according to

Cooper seems to be over his injuries of last year, if Loaiza is ok then

4 starters is fine for most of April....hopefully Loaiza comes back

strong & shoney gets his head out of his butt...can't trade for a quality

starter now

the bullpen seems fine...

bring on the opener

go go SOXXXXXXXXXXXX

bench

I'd still love to see the Sox get their hands on Odalis Perez. The guy is going to have a monster season this year. He was awesome two years ago and he will be very good again this year. Last year was due to him pitching so many more innings then ever before the prior year.

He's a different type of lefty then Buehrle, but still has very good control (I think he only has 2 walks all of spring).

I assume you have seen his ST stats Jas. But if you haven't you'll want Odalis even more.
