Since divisional play began, the Cubs have been in the post season playoffs 4 times....the Sox 3

The Sox have not won a post season series since 1917

The Cubs won one last year.

The Cubs have won 10 pennants since 1900

The Sox have won 5

They both have won only 2 world series (The Sox having the dubious distinction of being the only team to ever throw one).

The Cubs all time record is 9667-9130 for a .515%

The Sox all time record is 8028-7878 for a .505%.

Since divisional play began, Cubs have 3 division titles Sox have 4.

Cubs have not had back to back winning seasons since 1971-72.

Sox have not had A losing season for 5 years.

The Cubs used to be called the White Stockings.

One of the best Cubs teams ever lost the World Series to the White Sox.

Cubs Overall Regular Season Record Since 1900: 6453 - 6893 (.484)

Sox Overall Regular Season Record Since 1900: 8028-7878 (.505)

(This means the Cubs won alot of games BEFORE the White Sox existed, BEFORE they were called the Cubs)

Perhaps if the Cubs and Sox played against each other every year we would know. I seem to recall the Sox winning 20 out of 36.

See facts are indeed facts. Your facts are 100% valid and so are mine. I can find just as many facts that seem to make the Sox better than the Cubs.

EDIT: Dammit someone posted almost all the stuff I just did. :o

The stats that should jump out right away is that he haven't had a losing season in 5 years!!! Whereas the Cubs haven't had 2 winning seasons since '71-72 (even though that will probably change this year)

And most fans would say the Sox usually win the head to head matches with the Cubs (20 out of 36)

Cub fans should just shut their pathetic mouths and see what the teams do in the field...

Question I would have asked though is which is the last team to have a 95 game loss season?? Ohhhh wait that would be the scrubs. Anyway.. bye bye trollie.

Another fun stat:

The Cubs have been one game away from the World Series twice since interleague play began, and lost a combined 5 consecutive games ( the maximum amount any team COULD lose consecutively, since it was best-of-5 in 84 and best of 7 in 03 ) to avoid reaching the WS.

Facts are facts...

Bye bye trolly.

THANK GOD. This piece of s*** has been spamming the Sox message board for the past 2 hours. I responded to everyone of his posts with;

So you're living off stats that were from the late 1800's and early 1900's. I'll admit the Cubs were the stuff WAY back in the day, but they haven't been much since our lifetime. Since the scrubs last appearance in the World Series in 1945, they have had only 14, FOURTEEN!!!!!, winning seasons. The Sox have had 32. The scrubs haven't had back to back winning seasons since 1971-1972. The Cubs have had 2 winning seasons in the 2000's. The Sox have had 3 and a .500 season. The Cubs had 2 winning seasons in the 1990's. The Sox had 7 to go along with back-to-back division titles. The Cubs had 2 winning seasons in the 1980's. The Sox had 4. I was born in 1983, so I could care less for the records before my time. I'm guessing by the way you act on these boards you were born sometime in the 90's. Let's look at the records since the Sox came in the league in 1901. Since the Sox came in to the League in 1901, their overall record is 8028-7876 with a winning percentage of .50478. The scrubs record from 1901 is 8046-7896 with a percentage of .50472. Since you have decided to include stats from a such a long time ago, I'll ask you these questions: Who is the last Chicago team to win a world series? Who is the last Chicago team to win the pennant in their league? Don't forget the Sox hold the all-time series against the Cubs in the regular season 20-16.

I also reported everyone of his posts for including a website (MLB doesn't like that.) Some of them are getting deleted, but I hope the piece of s*** gets banned. He did this before and he was acting more of a prick. He was f***ing around on a thread about that Cop that was killed who was a Sox fan. It was also my Uncle's (who lives a couple of blocks from the ballpark) brother in-law. f*** THAT PIECE OF s*** TROLL!!!

has a cubs fan ever got beyond 3rd grade? :huh  :huh  :huh  :huh

Yeah!! I know one that made it all the way to 4th. Only problem was that he spent 7 years there. I guess that that's all the IQ and intelligence that is required to be a Cub fan. As much as that sCUmB has the audacity to not only come on our board, but to ridicule one of our own Sox-Bro's who is grieving, I would hope that any of us going to the Sox/Cubs game would not stoop down to his level and get our trash-talking down on any "Personal or Family" encounters. Let us be the ones who show and prove that we are the ones with "REAL CLASS!!!!!" and let our team do our talking for us!! I hate The Cubs with a passion, but personal attacks and senseless vulgarity aimed with cruelty with the intent of hurting just don't belong!!!
