KevHead0881
If the 2000 season taught us anyting, it's that we sure could use a nice all-out brawl to start the season (ala the Detroit game). I wouldn't mind seeing Maggs bring out that karate kick again. Then again, there is no Robert Fick, so what fun would that be?
Purdue129
I'm in shock today... walking around campus(in my '83 jersey, I might add) I've seen more White Sox stuff than Cubs stuff!! I guess the Cubs stuff must be packed away til October :fthecubs Hoping we see a usually quick Buehrle game like SEALgep said so I don't have to skip class at 4:30. thomsonmi
I think Ozzie's making the right call on Willie today. Being in the opening day lineup is important to these guys. During the season, Uribe may get most of the LHP playing time but for opening day the "starter" needs to be in the lineup. Willie really came on strong at the end of spring training. Hopefully, it will continue.
moochpuppy
I wanted Uribe to start agst the LH, but let's see how Harris will handle. If he doesnt do well put Uribe on Wednesday. Lineups almost set: White Sox Willie Harris 2B Jose Valentin SS Magglio Ordonez RF Frank Thomas DH Carlos Lee LF Paul Konerko 1B Joe Crede 3B Aaron Rowand CF Sandy Alomar Jr. C Mark Buehrle P Kansas City Angel Berroa SS Carlos Beltran CF Mike Sweeney 1B Juan Gonzalez RF Joe Randa 3B Ken Harvey DH Benito Santiago C Aaron Guiel LF Desi Relaford 2B Brian Anderson P I would like to see Rowand and Valentin switched in the order. southsider2k5
Agreed 100% Definately. I think Row will be there before too long. Right now Valentin is a prototypical bottom of the order powerhitter.

KevHead0881
I see Alomar is starting today. I'm still curious to see how much they plan on using him. I'm thinking that any more than twice a week is too much.
