mmmmmbeeer
Definitely let Koch finish her out. If he allows two runners on then bring in Mr. Zero (not Marte being Beltran could be at bat).

Chisoxfn
I bring Koch or Tagatsu in for the 9th. Politte looked good in the 8th. Stairs went down on some serious gas (98 on the gun). Now a few Sox runs would be great
sox-r-us
Politte only pitched 13 pitches.....let him go for the 9th? Can the O please get some insurance runs here in the top of the 9th? I mean....like 10 runs....
Soxbadger
Koch in the 9th is my vote. SB
SnB
Let koch take this one, hold me to it.
Queen Prawn
I smell Koch. In that case, he seriously needs a shower!
rafacosta
Politte K's Benito "Older then dirt" Santiago for the third out. I'm feeling good people: bring in Botch 9th inning and lets go into NY with a win. I want Koch in also, lets see what he can do.

Flash Tizzle
Did anyone else notice when Sullivan was pitching that his form seems to be a little different than last year. Its almost as if he doesn't dip as low as last year in his delivery.
Chisoxfn
Damn, Crede hit it hard, but right at Sweeney.
Guest JimH
Great job by Politte, I'm very happy to see him bounce back like that. OK ... lemme go out on a limb here. Who should pitch the 9th? Shingo. Why? 1). They haven't seen him 2). Get his 1st appearance out of the way before NY and the inevitable media circus from the Far East media contingent. 3). Since Oz is doing closer-by-committee, why not try this guy, since they said he might close out some games anyway. (But I don't know if they said that BEFORE or AFTER Oz said Koch was da guy )

I also noticed his velocity was up about 2 MPH.
mreye
Damn, Crede hit it hard, but right at Sweeney. The swing was pathetic, though. He looks like he's asleep out there.

CWSGuy406
Crede really needs to hit next year - I expect him to be solid, and if he doesn't do well this year I'll be pretty pissed. I like his stroke - but he's gotta hit.
Chisoxfn
Crede always kind of looks asleep at the plate. He'll get things going.

Oz was questioned for taking out the man he labeled as "closer", and this is his chance to right his own mistake.
