southsider2k5
I still like conneticut, maybe i'm just crazy but if Charlie V comes back he and the rest of the team should have alot of experience Not without Ben Gordon and Okafor...
danman31
It's too early. It depends on who goes pro. I hate preseason #1's anyway. This is the first time I can remember the "experts" being right.
WillieHarris2
gotta go w/ duke. i think connecticut will be pretty good next year cuz anderson, brown, boone, and villenueva will all be back i think. correct me if im wrong
Goldmember
i'll be a homer and go for illinois... we aren't losing anyone important and hopefully we can add some inside presence...
DBAHO
I'm goin to pick a sleeper and say Syracuse. Dunno if Warrick's goin pro or not though.
AssHatSoxFan
i said kansas cuz i think they also have a lot of guys back and usually the #1 pick is a curse and i hope it is cuz Illini will be awfully good
danman31
I'm goin to pick a sleeper and say Syracuse. Dunno if Warrick's goin pro or not though. Not national champ, preseason #1. Preseason #1's are determined months before the season starts in the minds of the "experts". Syracuse has no shot.
witesoxfan
I'm goin to pick a sleeper and say Syracuse. Dunno if Warrick's goin pro or not though. They have to get another scorer before they are a top 10 team again. G-Mac and Warrick are both good, but they cannot get it done alone. The loss of Billy Edelin killed them. Had Edelin played the whole year, I have no doubt they could have been a Final Four team. I'll take a wild guess and say that it is OK State. No reason why. Also, I predict Ga Tech is in the top 5, just due to them not losing anyone critical(that is, of course, unless they do lose someone critical...but I don't see how that will happen). ChiSox_Sonix
i was torn between Connecticut and UNC. UConn will return Boone, Villanueva, Anderson, Denham Brown, and Hilton Armstrong and get back Marcus Williams and Macrus White from injury. Ed Nelson (transfer from GT) will be eligible and they are getting two super freshmen, Rudy Gay and AJ Price. Also, it isnt guaranteed Gordon's going pro, although i am about 99% sure he is. But, despite that and my UConn bias, i had to go with UNC. They are returning Felton, Williams, May, McCants and getting a couple good recruits. UNC will be the team to beat
southsider2k5
UNC and Illinois are good picks IMO. Duke could be there also. Also who is GTech returning?
DBAHO
I'm changin my choice to Georgia Tech. I know the Aussie center is returnin, so that's good enough for me.
Butter Parque
We're not sure if Felton and/or May is going to return, plus I still don't think Roy Williams will ever win it all.
Gene Honda Civic
Andy Katz's rankings He has Wiscy @#4 -- even I can't believe that, and I think they have a great team -- I don't think devin harris will be back -- I read somewhere during the season that made it seam like he would probably leave early. ChiSox_Sonix
UNC and Illinois are good picks IMO. Duke could be there also. Also who is GTech returning? Schenscher, Bynum, Jack, Muhammad, Elder, Moore Basically, they just lose Lewis
southsider2k5
Schenscher, Bynum, Jack, Muhammad, Elder, Moore Basically, they just lose Lewis Then Tech has got to be included. I also would say Kansas, if Simien is telling the truth about coming back for his senior year.
danman31
Schenscher, Bynum, Jack, Muhammad, Elder, Moore Basically, they just lose Lewis Moore is a senior. The talent will be there, but the depth will be the question with GT next year.
