HighHeat45
o no, rain delay dont they have to finish 5 innings for the game to be official, that would suck because they are 1 out away

CSF
The game has resumed. Patterson currently up with a man on 1st. Wilson still pitching for the Reds.

WHarris1
Does anyone have a sweeter swing that Griffey when he hits a homer? Part of the reason why he is my favorite player in the league.
The Critic
I have no problem with Cub bashing, but we should keep it in the Sports Bar. This section should be all White Sox talk, all the time. Sosa is getting booed by Reds fans! :fthecubs Early candidate for the Instantaneous Contradiction Post Of The Year!!!

Part of the reason why he is my favorite player in the league. i dont think so, but if he wasnt hurt all the time then maybe i would consider him to be my favorite player in the leauge. The Critic
How is the tribune going to spin Maddux's pitching today? 3 ER, 2 HBP, 3 IP so far..... They'll probably drool all over him for "owning up" to the fact that he lost, and for being a "stand-up guy" by discussing the loss with the media. That REALLY is courageous of him....he's a true warrior......ugh..... EDIT to note that at the time of this post, he actually hadn't LOST the game yet - just looking into the near future is all.....hopefully...... CWSGuy406
For those of you who didnt see: Sammy was up in the count 2-0. Wagner throws a high fastball that Sammy misses for strike one. Next pitch, Wagner throws a slider that falls away off the outside of the plate into the dirt, Sammy flails horribly at it, 2-2. Then, Wagner throws the same exact pitch, Sammy flails again and strikes out. It was pathetic and awesome to watch. :fthecubs

In contrast, Frank took 17 pitches from Darrell May before he coaxed a base on balls. It's called patience. Some have it; others don't. Flash Tizzle
Cub fans are complaining on 670 the Score. "Cincinnati is terrible, if Cubs don't go 14-9 in April we're in trouble. " What a whining b****! Its not as if they gave up a 4 run lead in the 9th inning like the White Sox.
