aboz56
Shingo won't last long, I think we'll send him down to Charlotte before too long.
Flash Tizzle
Shingo can't pitch against LH, and the first two batters were left handers. His ass better get used to a role as specialist.

Well I would be careful not to overract based on one outing, but he sure doesn't look good against lefties.

This isn't one outing, I saw him get rocked plenty out in Tucson. And if he was that good, we wouldn't have gotten him.

Flash Tizzle
Who else thinks the Tribune highlights Shingos performance in the ninth over Garlands. "Shingo rattles nerves in 9th, Sox win."

Then you are judging a breaking ball pitcher on the dead air of AZ.

Well, I don't find many times when I agree with aboz, but that 2nd line he said there says it all...quoted for truth.

Mr. Showtime
I'd use Takatsu only vs. righties. Then I'd find a taker for Botch.

JUGGERNAUT
Then you are judging a breaking ball pitcher on the dead air of AZ. I agree it's WAY TOOOOOOOOOOOO EARLY to give up on Mr. Zero. That Mr. Zero was NEVER about the regular season. It's about the POST SEASON! I've got faith he'll figure it out & be a great bullpen addition.
