John Rooney Thoughts

Rooney and Farmer are eons above Hawk and DJ. The two talk about absolutely nothing on the broadcast. Sure Rooney and Farmer might stray a little about who they had dinner with last night but it always stems from something about the game. Plus you cant go wrong with their baseball knowledge.

P.S.-If you get the chance, go to North to North.com Mike Norths website. He has an audio clip of the two guys calling the Brant Brown droped ball. "O!!! HE DROPED THE BALL, NO!!!!!!!!"

Classic.

Thank you SOO much for this !! I have been looking for this clip for probably two years now with no luck.

Here is a direct link to the mp3 for others:

Jesus, this "nice guy" doesn't let up.

Twice on Ordonez drives and twice on Thomas's, he allowed the listeneer to believe those balls were crushed and would at least be doubles if not homers.

Is he blind? The game is on the line and he jerks people's emotions.

Hey Brando...are you watching the games. The balls have been absolutely crushed. The Sox have hit like 4 balls to dead center to the track, about 400 feet. And they haven't been pop ups, they've been line shots.

The Sox have hit the ball on the button every at bat. I realize you have something against Rooney and I'm not listening to him, Im listening to the Yanks guys, but the balls have been absolutely scolded. Get over it.
