MurcieOne
Does Diaz ever get a shot to pitch at USCF? I pray he pans out...

BrandoFan
Does Diaz ever get a shot to pitch at USCF? I pray he pans out... Well, he certainly showed Rauch what stepping up means, didn't he?
Rex Hudler
Reed hitting .429..... Nelson hitting .714.... not sure why the averages are getting messed up. I saw Rickie Weeks listed as hitting .955, however he is hitting nowhere near that. He is only at .750!
Rex Hudler
Winston............. Nanita, Lopez, Sweeney and Anderson all with a hit. Nanita scored 3 runs. Rogowskie 2-4. Kanny.......... Bounds, Lisk and The Schnur with two hits apiece. Valido still playing 2B (???)......
Chisoxfn
Anderson and Sweeney had back to back doubles in the game, although they loss. I also found it interesting that that was Munoz's first start in his entire life. Even when he was a kid he didn't start. Pretty sucessful debut. Baj also got in the game Kind of upsets me that Valido is getting stiffed by Gonzalez. I think its bs, cause Valido has a ton of tools to be a heck of a defensive shortstop. Plus I like Gray. I realize Gonzalez also has potential, but at this stage of the game Valido ranks higher in my book and I'm sure most scouts books, so I think Andy should be playing another position (How about moving him to pitcher finally; I say this is his last year the Sox use him as a shortstop). DBAHO
Does Diaz ever get a shot to pitch at USCF? I pray he pans out... I still think his long term future is in the pen, he's got a great fastball though. Electric stuff.
bmags
only .755? that guy sucks. I too am anxious to see Valido at short, i was very excited to see him taken, and read many good things about him, i thought it was a miracle we signed him...so get him over to short!!! winninguglyin83
Diaz and Munoz both pitched great. Rauch was solid. that's the kind of pitching you expect from the Sox in the minor leagues. Throw in the nice work by Adkins and Cotts in New York on Thursday and I'm more encouraged than I was a few months ago
