quade36
I just got back from a meeting. When I left for it the Sox were up 6-2. I came back and watched Crede's hit on the computer. THANK GOD...

ChiSox_Sonix
so is the final score 11-9 or 10-9? MLB has 10-9 but ESPN had 11-9. Normally, i'd know it would be 10-9 cuz play stops when the winning run scored, but Crede hit a ground rule double right? So that would allow two runs to score, kinda like with a HR. So what is it? False Alarm
radio postgame said the official scorer called to consult some sports bureau and ended up scoring it 10-9.
WSoxShuf
This is the kind of game that changes a season.
Chisoxfn
I think its up to Crede. He could of taken 2nd and force another run in or couldn't of. Kind of like whne Ventura hit that bases loaded grand slam to put the Mets in the world series a few years back. He stopped on first so it went down as a bases loaded single, even though he hit the homer.
danman31
I believe a HR is a different case though.
Chisoxfn
I believe a HR is a different case though. I think either way it would be up to the player to continue to run to his allotted base. Thats just my guess. I've been in the booth once before where the scorekeeper is and basically on odd plays they'll ask everyone in there what they think. Or like if its an error, they'll get some input and for all you know, its your response that can go down in the books
bulokis
Damn we won? What the f??? I left my apartment after Koch blew up another lead and headed to my speech class mad ass hell. This is a good sign to have in our club. We better not pitch Koch on a save opportunity again.
