NUKE_CLEVELAND
http://www.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/Movies/04/...m.ap/index.html You have to wonder how this doesn't happen more often.
FlaSoxxJim
I never knew there was a "nonprofit Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation." They screen 1,200 adult film stars a month for HIV and other STDs. I had wondered how the industry had not wiped itself out through disease transmission. It's actually kind of ironic that porn stars are engaging in safer sex than a lot of the population.
Texsox
The Porn industry has been on the leading edge of many trends and technologies. Look at early VCR sales, internet commerce, etc. Aids awareness and protection is another area. Amazing, but true.

Texsox
well we know which one interests Tex most.... Ah the evil misquoter strikes again. Steff, I'm a little busy, would you take care of this for me? Come to think of it, they probably were also on the forfront of latex design, miniature electronics, piezo buzzers, virtual reality, and just for you PA, I found an Amish Porn Site for your relocation to the Amish. FlaSoxxJim
championing the correct usage of ironic since 4/15/04 That is a truly noble cause. While you're at it, get people to stop saying "very unique" and "forever an ever" while you're at it.

Rex Kickass
STD's are not uncommon in the "adult entertainment" industry unfortunately. But believe it or not, they are less frequent in the gay "adult entertainment" industry. Why? Because for the last 15 years, the major producers of that form of entertainment, have their talent wear condoms during sex. I was listening to Marketplace on NPR last night and they had a story about this - and one industry watchdog group, apparently they have several, said that the shutting down of the film branch of the industry for 60 days seems a bit ridiculous when all they'd have to do is put a condom on... they'd even be safer than they were a week ago. BrandoFan
How many of you have actually fantasized about being a porn star? Never. I dunno about most people here, but I'd rather *be with* one Julienne Moore or Amy Rossum than 100 Tracy Lordses. Borken cum dumpsters really don't appeal to me that much. I am Clujer like that. Rex Kickass
How many of you have actually fantasized about being a porn star? Just curious. How do you know I'm not already a pornstar. Have you seen me and Ron Jeremy together in the same place? Me neither. Just call me the ground... er hedge hog.
