BrandoFan
For the second straight day, a starter turned in a no-excuse, balls-out dominating performance. Watch and learn, Danny, watch and f***ing learn. SOX WIN!!!!!

After a game like this, that wifey of his better be a bit more forthcoming tonight. [/larry david]

SoxFanForever
Yeah, if he keeps pitching like this we will have one less issue to worry about. I love it.

striker
Just think of how good our pitching is doing now and how much better they'll be once they stop walking everybody. WE NEED DAN WRIGHT TO PULL IT TOGETHER. s*** OR GET OFF THE POT.
Reddy
i just dont think danny has the stuff to be a ML starter... He works really great out of the BP. i think we should pull a switch with him and cotts

Give Cottsy a shot to start, damnit, he's earned it.
NUKE_CLEVELAND
You wanted 7 and 1 and you got 9 and 0. I'd say that's a pretty good deal eh?

But at least he has a bulldog mentality, and I'd rather Sox go down swinging than forfeit every time Wrong takes the mound. I'd rather have Danny at 3.00 ERA in long relief than at 6.00 ERA as starter. But that's just me.

Jordan4life_2007
I still think Danny should get atleast a couple more starts to prove he can get the job done. If not, it's time to see what we have in, Cotts.

CWSGuy406
Don't get me wrong, I'm not totally disgusted with Danny Wright's performances thus far. He clearly hasn't had his best stuff in either of his starts, yet he's kept us in both of the games he's started. Isn't that all you can really ask for from your fifth guy, well, in our situation? My thinking, as well as many others, is that if you can get better production out of another player at that role, in this case the fifth starter role, than you make that switch. But it is a double bonus, as, if things go right, you can get better production our of both Cotts in the fifth starter spot, and Wright in the long relief spot. I feel a move like this actually makes our rotation AND our bullpen better, because, for some reason, Wright seems to pitch a lot better out of the bullpen than as a starter.
