I am glad we are seeing Alex now, and not in July. Greg Maddux is done.

Be Good
--Delgado's bat. Delgado will get better, after all I have money on it, as I have him hitting the most Homers this season.
BrandoFan
ARod and Delgado are both notorious slow starters Are you sure about Delgado? I remember last year, he had an insane amount of RBI in the first half.
SoxFanForever
Yeah didn't he have like 90+ RBI at the break? Him and Wells were crushing last year.
NUKE_CLEVELAND
--Greg Maddux --A-Rod Maddux? That's the Flubbie Curse manifesting itself. He's toast. PayRod? He is an overpaid complacent little assclown who has no incentive to do anything save for show up and cash his check.
SoxAce
Maddux? That's the Flubbie Curse manifesting itself. He's toast. PayRod? He is an overpaid complacent little assclown who has no incentive to do anything save for show up and cash his check. Or Maddux has the Cubbie Curse and A-Rod has The Red Sox Curse from not going to their team.

southsider2k5
I found this on Delgado, that may explain some things Carlos Delgado said his left knee is not a contributor in his slump to begin the season. Delgado is stuck in slumps of 0-for-15 and 2-for-27. He says the knee, which troubled him in spring training, "only bothers me when I have to run." He was given a chance to DH in Sunday's game. Delgado is too good to hit this poorly for long, but the problem he and the Jays have is nobody is getting on base in front of him.
