DonkeyKongerko
I blame Danny Wright. Somehow he just makes us lose.

Gene Honda Civic
Swining for the fences every AB gets tiresome. How many ground base outs did the Sox have today? Sox had 8 ground ball outs yesterday -- 3 so far today.
DonkeyKongerko
Which one -- Isn't BeGood's real name Danny Wright? Danny Ryan i think. I could be Wrong, Danny Wrong. I think Danny's MO is to give up just enough runs to lose no matter what.
BrandoFan
Sandy is the worst defensive catcher in AL and he swung at 3 balls 4 :headshake Uribe had a 2-0 count and went down like a b****. Crede is beyond bad. Showboat Gload be great if foul ball liners counted for something. Rowand had a nice HR swing on a pitch he was looking for -- at his shoe-strings Rangeless Wonder Konerko....as vad as everybody else. Frank is too good for this team. BrandoFan
Oh yeah...Lee....there is no cure for stupidity. Frank just walked, Baez struggles with contral and this POS uppercuts the 1st outside pitch.
BrandoFan
I dont know why, but this is the most frusterated I have been in a long time. That because deep down, under the dopey homer facade, there is an astute baseball fan hiding -- and he is disgusted with Sox having the most anemic 2-0/3-0 hitters ever. Sandy just swung at ball 4. CWSGuy406
Ugh, that 9 million dollar contract to Lee isn't looking good. I know it's early, but....
kapkomet
Today was shades of corpseball. And there's always days like this in a 162 game schedule. But to me they had no life today whatsoever and they were not thinking - swinging at terrible pitches, etc.

Soxfest
They are lucky as hell to of won last night, they play like JM is still around .
BrandoFan
I wonder who Mark Buerhle is gonna blame for this. Ace? Yeah, um, riiiiight. Willie's hits were fluke bouncers that are outs most of the time. Still as a bad as ever. Magglio....superstar he is not. Lee....overrated dumbass. Crede...jaw-droppingly bad. Rowand....keep on wasting 2-0 counts and hitting towering pop-ups, dude -- you'll be back at the dirtbike track full-time. :headshake
Wise Master Buehrle
Mark has all the right in the world to be pissed at these hitters. Inexcusable.

BrandoFan
This just proves to me that when Maggs doesnt go, this team doesnt go. Wait till Maggs is gone, then we will see how much this team needed him. Thomas carried this team in 2000. Maggs has never won a damn thing, his 14 Mill won't be missed. BrandoFan
Posted from other thread, I'll post it again, because I'm guilty too... Here's my din-din tonight. Let me help you out here, this is how the process works: Sox play like s*** this week, in every department. I point it out. End of story. Just because they snuck out a flukey win against Denny "2-0 on every batter" Baez, doesn't invalidate a thing I said; Sox are still not playing like they should. southsider2k5
The point is the attitude on the field. They aren't quitting. This might not be the brightest team in MLB, but you don't unlearn 5 years of bad habits in two months. This team gives a s***, that is what matters. That is at least 3 games we have won this year, that the corpseballboys quit and collect their paycheck for. That is 11-7 and a game out of first versus 8-10 and panic reigning in the Southside. Corpseball is dead.
BrandoFan
Corpseball is dead. I guess over the next 144 games, we're gonna see if you're right or not. I have a feeling this thread is going back up a few more times in the next 5 months.
