Oguleyne Still a Possibility

Recommended Posts

Rosenhaus has been quoted as saying that he was informed that the Bears will make a trade offer to the Dolphins sometime this week, possibly as late as draft day.

"The most the Bears seem willing to offer is their second-round pick, journeyman offensive lineman Aaron Gibson and a conditional pick in 2005. "

The Dolphins have scoffed at this, who knows if the Bears are going to up the ante or not.

Oguleyne would be a hell of a pick up though.

Don't trade the 1st pick, and this would be a dream deal.

Dockett, Harris, Wilfolk with Brown and Ogun would be a f***in awesome front line.

???? How would that happen, lol? Harris and Wilfork will both be taken in the first round, the Bears will be lucky to have one of them fall to 14. I agree, though, that if you can do this while hanging onto that first rounder, I'm all for it.

wow this is not a trick statement.

Harris, Dockett, Willfolk.

One of the 3.

If the Bears got that second first rounder, might they take the 2 picks, package them with another player (let's say A-Train or Terrell) and move up to go after the lineman from Iowa. (I am having a brain cramp. I forgot his name)

Robert Gallery.

And, in all honesty, I would not be surprised in the least if it took more then 2 first rounders to get Gallery. He's supposed to be that f***ing good.

Considering that...I would just keep the picks. The only time trading up is really worth it is if your team is one playmaker away from being great(the Falcons for example...they traded up for Michael Vick, and they went from being bad to being good with just Vick). Gallery is that type of player, but I'm just not sure he'd push the Bears over the top, if you get my drift.

The Chargers are going to take him #1 overall (Gallery) so I wouldn't hold your breath to get him. I'd freaking love Gallery, he is an absolutely STUD, but the reality is the Bears don't have the ability to snag 2 first round picks. The Pats aren't going to move up, because Jackson would of been what they wanted and if they want to move up with two first rounders, they could go higher then 14, imo.

I'll take Oguleyne and the Dolphins 1st rounder in what was rumored (1st rounder of ours and a 3rd rounder for their first rounder and Oguleyne). Bears get a stud DE and then can still go dt in the 1st if they want or grab Lee Evans (I got a feeling this is who JA is targeting and they will move down if they can't deal for Oguleyne).

If the Patriots can get Dillon for a low 2nd rounder than this should be enough for the Dolphins liking.

Oguleyne is going to demand Urlacher-type money.

We should save that cash for a running back. For now, let's just load up on defensive linemen in the draft. Take three in the first four rounds.

The Eagles selected 4 DBs in the first four rounds two years ago (6 picks altogether). No more Troy Vincent, Bobby Taylor, or Al Harris, you say? Well, who cares? They have a s***load of inexpensive talent on the horizon. They ain't stupid, and neither are the Bears. Well, at least I hope not. If they get Oguleyne, Angelo will be out of here before long. I still can't believe that he offered Kearse so much money. :bang

If his draft picks in 2003 weren't so phenomenal, I'd put him right there with Wannstedt.
