Game Thread-Tuesday April 20th vs Yankmees

Anyone think the reason Buehrle had trouble was because the delays to start the game and maybe he had trouble warming/threw a lot of warmup tosses?

I'm watching the Twins-Tigers game, and the Twins commentators were commenting (just what commentators do best) on our game. They said that they read that Buehrle was going to add another pitch to his repertoire tonight, "but after this game he'll probably stick that pitch in his pocket, because apparently every time he throws it, he's backing up third base".

Did anyone notice a new pitch?

Holy s*** Cheat.      I remember that game well.  Carlos 3 run shot in 9th, followed by an Everett solo, but it wasn't enough.  Maybe a couple hunded at the game when it was over.

If I can remember that game got the sox going, and that started their large winning streak last year.

The end of the game there couldn't have been more than 1500 people there... It was awsome ... By far the favorite game I've been to where the sox have lost.

god damn... this could turn out to be either really really really messed up (even beyond the point at which it is at currently) or it could be a great thing in one of 2 ways...

one it gets rained out and we get a second chance at that 1st inning....

or

two... buhley settles down and throws for another 3 innings giving up 1 - 2 at the most.... then cotts comes in and is lights out for 5 innings.... all the while out offence steps on the gas and kills the spank-mees pitching

im hoping for number two, but i dont think ill hold my breath

great day, work 2 hours over time, get in my car and am welcomed with a phat flat tire... put my spare on, go home and see this s***....

*cough*

bad day so far

COME ON SOX, LETS GET IT ON AND TURN IT AROUND, WORK YOUR MAGIC OZZIE!

Are we still delayed, I am working on a paper...

I think most of us are working on a paper right now. I'm currently writing a 4 page essay ont he 1919 Scandal.

I wonder if we're headed to the World Series this year (in the sense of Boston and Cubs last year) they'll make that our "curse"

Graman was the first pitcher since the 19th century to take the mound in the 1st with a 7 run lead in his major league debut.
