UofIChiSox
Does it seem wrong to anybody else that here we are 13 games into the 2004 season and already we can vote for All-Stars? Fan voting for the All-Star game is dumb. Vote for your South Side All-Stars

Vote for your South Side All-Stars I liked it when you had to get the puch-card-style ballots at the ballpark -- Voting online teh dumb /voted thousands of times last year for thomas online

cwsox
They still have em. yeah they do when we first got fan voting back in the 70s it was such a big deal, people took it seriously - now I'd scoff at anyone taking it seriously - stuff the ballot bag for all Sox players only way to go and in the NL I vote for all Padres

Scwible
Seems way early but vote Sox players early and vote often. Blast, I can't vote for Konerko due to his stellar start as frank is there for 1st, I must write him in.
Texsox
I stuffed the ballot for Lugo last year. I thought it would be funny if a guy currently playing in the AL would have been voted a starter on the NL team. Fan voting is so stupid. Hell they allowed votes from Japan last year. AT the minimum, you should have to go to the ballpark and vote. I'd even allow monor league parks to have ballots. But being able to sit at home and just vote for your hometown guys is dumb and meaningless.

cwsox
Out of curiousity, why the Padres? there is the I'm a pastor they are Padres sort of thing but that takes a far second plaace to I see them as the most inept NL team and I want the AL to win the game so rather than memorize who is the worst, I let the Padres be my template for that

Gene Honda Civic
why Marlins? I think the marlins are just a fun team to watch -- young, talented, exuberent -- They are my favorite team besides the sox to watch.

Cali
What's the point of even voting? I can tell you right now what the AL starting line up will be: C Jorge Posada 1B Jason Giambi 2B Bret Boone/ Alfonso Soriano SS Derek Jeter 3B Alex Rodriguez OF Hideki Matsuo OF Ichiro OF Gary Sheffield/ maybe Vlad if he can get a good backing from the Angeles fans The weird thing is that the NL line-ups are a lot better balanced than the AL ones, and have been for the last couple of years. Fans should not be the sole people involved in picking All Star rosters. They had their chance and they blew it. They should have had that ability taken away after the 2001 All-Mariner team Bulls***.
