Computer problem

Sounds like you have some spyware on your computer. I'd download spybot search and destroy and remove the spyware. That will probably clear it up.

www.download.com and then type in spybot search and destroy.

Someone else may have a better suggestion though, but it sounds like spyware to me.

There are some websites that do that for advertising, but if it's occuring on websites you know don't do that (soxtalk, espn, whatever), then it's prolly adware.

Download Ad-Aware, SpyBot, or another spyware-remover.

Ad-Aware is what I got, I used to have Spybot but it got bumped off for bigger and better things.

My computer has this problem going on.  Certain words on webpages are highlighted and when I click on it, it says I-lookup.  How do I get rid of words being highlighted???

question, are the sites you going to has the pdf veiw as html or another exe view as html, then there is nothing you can do about that.

in ref to anything else, i never heard or seen anything like that unless its with the above situation.

WOW, this is very wierd, i was just reading my updates on sophos and it is mentioning this problem. there is a severe spybot going around that adaware or spybot s&d may not be able to get out. the name of it is "clientman or clearsearch" and i suggestion is to try both adaware and spybot and if not, then go to google and try a search for the removal.
