LDF
Well, I think it depends on who's there - There's a couple players that, if they happen to fall to the 14th spot, I definitely take them, like Roy Williams and DeAngelo Hall. However, they likely won't be there at 14. So, I see a huge need at DT - right now we have Alfonso Boone and Bryan Robinson penciled in as our starting DT, which isn't good. So, as much as I'd love to take a player like WR Lee Evans from Wisconson, or Johnathan Vilma, LB from Miami, I think that we need to select a defensive tackle. Vince Wilfork is my choice for the Bears at 14. He's big and deceptively quick, he'll free up our DEs, and he'll provide pressure himself. they need and will address the dl position in the first round, but i think wilfork will now not be there'
CWSGuy406
they need and will address the dl position in the first round, but i think wilfork will now not be there' I just hope the Bears don't take Will Smith. If they take Will Smith, last years pick of Michael Haynes turns into such a pointless pick...

CWSGuy406
Eww, if the Lions take Winslow, then the Lions will have two very good people to throw to in Winslow and Charles Rogers.

CWSGuy406
Cleveland and Detroit Swap First Round Picks. Kellen Winslow, TE, Miami, is taken 6th by the Browns.
CWSGuy406
Cleveland and Detroit Swap Picks, and Detroit picks up a second rounder as well. I agree, LDF. Credit San Diego, for not folding under the pressure, they took Eli Manning, not necessarily in hope that he'd play for their team, but so that they could get more by taking Eli. But, now they have Roy Williams, Charles Rogers, and Tai "Dropped Ball" Streets.

But, now they have Roy Williams, Charles Rogers, and Tai "Dropped Ball" Streets. it all depend on the thought you like, a good passing game will establish the running game or a good running game will est the passing. i am in the good passing game est the running. CWSGuy406
det got a great return for the trade with cle. any thought on the bears pick Nothing I've heard yet. A trade possibility with Miami still exists, but I think they won't trade it, rather they'll take someone with the pick. Seeing as Roy Williams and Hall have been taken, I think the Bears will take Wilfork if he's there. Then again, I don't know how high people are on Will Smith and Udezi, so Wilfork very well might be taken before us. If that happens, hope that Harris is there. If he's not there, I trade it down and get Lee Evans/DJ Williams/John Vilma, and pick up an extra pick.

CWSGuy406
Ben Roethlisburger, QB, Miami (OHIO) taken 12th by the Steelers. That's an absolute steal right there. Jets pick 13th, then the Bears will be on the board.
CWSGuy406
My mistake - the Bills are now up, as the Jets take Johnathan Vilma, MLB from Miami. Bills are picking now 12th, the Bears pick after them.
