WHarris1
Whose pitching for the Knights tonight? I ask because whoever it is has only given up 2 hits and 0 runs in 7 IP. They lead 2-0.

They lead 2-0. I'm listening to the Game -- Kohlmeier started - sounded great -- retired 15(maybe 16?) batters in a row at one point. Wunch just came in and got a K and the gave up a Double -- Majewski into the game now.

Gene Honda Civic
Kohlmeier's been a big suprise so far, he's looked very comfortable bein a starter in Charlotte. I'll agree that he is surprise, but you have to remember He has almost 20 saves at the Major League level... I had pretty much written him off, in terms of every being able to contribute to the big-league club, but the way he's goin right now, he may prove me wrong. Chisoxfn
Unless he's found something else, I don't know if he'll ever be able to pitch at the major league level. But he's a solid pitcher from the minor league standpoint. He's not very over powering and is pretty much a junkballer, but its great seeing him pitching strong. danman31
The Knights won 5-1. Kohlmeier went 7 strong and only gave up 1 run. Reed went 0-2 with a walk. Box Score
Chisoxfn
I'm really glad Majewski had a perfect inning and a third. He also struck out 2. Majewski is the righty reliever I most like in Charlotte and I still fill he could one day contribute on the South Side. I really like his fastball and his mentality, although he still needs to better develop some sort of offspeed ptich. Still, him getting out of his funk is a good thing, cause it makes the Knights a lot better. The question is, will the Knights ever hit. They look like they have an atrocious offense, absolutely atrocious. We know about Reed and Borchard (whose struggling) but other then Nelson whose having a career startt the Barons are weak, very weak, and this is in a hitters park. Those pitchers are really going to have to keep it up, if not get better.
