As you all know I love baseball stats. There isn't another sport that generates as much interests in it's stats as baseball. So here's a new one I've created. I plan to update it either weekly or monthly so we can see it unfold over time. Enjoy!

Big month of May:

MIN 3 v ANA, 3 @ SEA, 3 @ OAK, 3 v SEA

MIN 3 @ CHW, 3 @ TOR, 5 v CHW, 3 @ (TB,KC)

CHW 4 v TOR, 3 @ BAL, 3 @ TOR, 3 v BAL

CHW 3 v MIN, 3 @ CLE, 5 @ MIN, 3 v (TEX,ANA)

Comments:

MIN is playing above their run difference potential. That's the effect of a solid bullpen to hold the leads. Something the SOX need to greatly improve on.

DET is scary. Leading the league in RS. When will White go on the DL?

for what it is worth, I-Rod is in a huge comfort zone. It is more than baseball. IRod (if he did sterioids, would it be IRoid?) has become to the Pistons what Jack Nicholson has been to the Lakers and Spike Lee to the Knicks. IRod is taking over Detroit. The man knows how to market and make himself at home.

Yeah but IRod will have his 6-8 week stint on the DL in July/August and that will be the end of Detroit.
