I was a little surprised

Baseball Tonight definitly has been getting on my nerves lately, last week Jeff Brantley and Rob Dibble made a big deal about how Nomar is not in uniform and supporting his teammates throughout his rehab.

What about Lofton with the Yanks or Prior with the Cubs? :huh

I think we all know that their analyists are terrible. I mean, they have guys that have never played past high school baseball telling us how easy, or how hard it is to hit a certain pitch, how a player should be aware of certain things etc, etc. It just makes me sick.

I watch it for the highlights, but beyond that it's quite worthless. Those guys are idiots. Plain and simple.

However, John Kruk is different. He speaks the truth and doesn't talk out of his ass when he doesn't know what he's talking about. He'll sit there and tell the viewers that he doesn't know what he's talking about.

They need more guys like Kruk, and less guys that think they know everything about everything.

I saw Reynolds make a fool of himself too.

I think he doesn't like the OBP guys much because he never was one. I mean, a .327 career OBP? 480 walks? 21 career homers?

I think someone is mad at Varitek, Giambi, and Thomas because they all have more homers by the break every year then Reynolds had homers in his career.

However, the one thing I thought was bad was that Krukky said that he doesn't know why guys go to the plate looking for walks. Call it a hunch, but I don't think these guys are looking for walks. They are looking for good pitches to hit, and when they don't get pitches they like, they either let them go by if they're balls, or they foul them off. I think walks are more a benefit of having such great plate discipline.

Outside of a couple of good baserunning years, he consistently ran his team out of innings, and was always good for about 20 errors, which in those days wasn't all that pretty for a 2B.

Kruk is the biggest dumbf*** of them all as far as I'm concerned. As stupid as Reynolds and Gammons are, they have nothing on Kruk.

What kind of a loser would sign on for that best damn sports show or whatever? Who watches that s***?

Obviously somebody has to be watching it if it is still on the air.
