DonkeyKongerko
I'm sure many of you diehard Sosa fans are already aware of this but Sosa is third all-time on this very prestigious list. He is ahead of McGwire, Mays, Ruth, Bonds, Aaron, DiMaggio, pretty much anybody you can name except Reggie Jackson and Andres Galaragga. Sammy Sosa has 1,997 career strikeouts and will soon pass Galaragga who has 2000 for second all time. Sosa has a decent chance to become the all-time strikeout king if he averages 150 or so strikeouts a year the next 4 seasons to reach the magic number of 2598. In this category, Sosa truly is the best player in Chicago. I mean Frank Thomas has ONLY 1086 career strikeouts. How can anyone expect to be a great power hitter like Sosa without whiffing an average of almost once per game for your entire career? Good to see this stat again, I remember seeing it at the end of last year.. It's great.
BrandoFan
Except when you drive in 150 with mediocre line-up, I don't care how many time you K. If Bonds was K-ing 200 times a year with other stats staying the same, do you think his value would suffer? Shammy is a roider, but that ugly issue aside.....his production since 1998 has been nohting short of spectacular. Deal with it.

Why are you telling us to deal with something we didn't disagree on to begin with?

Texsox
If he still wore a Sox uniform we would love him. I wish Frank had half of Sammy's charisma. Look how fast the world forgave him for the cork. Still, I love to see him strike out and get the record, will he give a little hop :fthecubs :sosasucks

Remember when he "lost" $22K cash, wrapped in a towel, that he "left" in a hotel in which he wasn't even staying? Remember when his wife had all those cuts and bruises on her face, when she "fell" a few years ago? I say, screw him! I'm glad we traded his steroid-taking, wife-abusing ass! Look how quickly Chicago fans embraced Rodman. He'd be our guy and we'd make up excuses for him. I wish Frank was teflon. He can't say s*** without the world jumping down his throat.
