redandwhite
I love the last line: Could be advised by Scott Boras, which could cause him to fall. f*** Boras!

redandwhite
FYI, the White Sox have the 18th, 34th(Bartolo) and 38th(Flash) picks in the draft... There are going to be some good players available..
WSoxShuf
Taken From Brewerfan.net #3 college pitcher & overall player according to Baseball America. #4 college prospect according to TeamOne Baseball. Summer All-American after pitching 45.2 scoreless innings for Team USA. A first-team preseason All-American according to BA. Finished the summer with a .38 ERA in 7 appearances, all starts. Younger brother of Los Angeles Dodgers RHP Jeff. Resembles his big brother in size & stuff. Exhibits outstanding command, limiting baserunners, both via hits & walks. Throws in the low 90s and has touched 96. Has a decent slider, curveball & changeup, although he lacks a true out pitch, which may prevent him from becomming a true power pitcher. If he starts to flash a dominant breaking ball this spring, likely his slider, he could easily be the #1 pick come June given his size & command. Could be advised by Scott Boras, which could cause him to fall. thanks that was helpful

Expect those picks to be pitching and middle infielders. Don't be suprised if we take a catcher quite early as well.

DBAHO
catcher???? This is probably Sandy Alomar's last year, plus we don't hav much depth in the minors.
Reddy
when i read this thread i had a flashback to the days when we really were scared of cleveland... and it makes me laugh. I dont think we have much to worry about from them... in the words of a great man "bring it on"
JUGGERNAUT
Everyday position players: MIN > CHW > CLE > DET > KC Part-time players: CHW > MIN > CLE > DET > KC Reserves: MIN > DET > KC > CHW > CLE Starters: CHW > DET > MIN > CLE > KC Relievers & failed starters: CHW > MIN > KC > CLE > DET Temps: KC > CLE > MIN > DET > CHW (we don't have any! ) You should be more afraid of DET than CLE. redandwhite
They just beat Curt Schilling and the first place Boston Red Sox 2-1 tonight what a sucky sucky game... wasting quality starts from Wake and Schilling like that.. I hate to say it but Nomar and Trot are desperately missed... As for the Indians, I wouldnt be to worried.. Only the Red Sox can make David Riske, Matt White, and Rafael Betancourt look like Paul Quantrill, Tom Gordon, and Mariano Rivera.
