Brian
I don't have a problem with Pepsi signs and beer signs in the outfield, but this maybe taking it too far. Spiderman 2 ads Think if this stuff took place in the 80's or 90's. In 85 when Back to the Future came out, they could of drove the bullpen pitchers to the mounds in a DeLorean to promote the movie. whitesoxfan99
I don't see any real problem with it. It doesn't take away from the game and why shouldn't the teams get more money from advertisers if they can.
southsider2k5
It saddens me, but doesn't surprise me at all. I am waiting for the first team to sell its nickname to advertisers.
Goldmember
i don't think this is a problem. they put decals on the bags commemorating jackie robinson day and i didn't even notice it until later on when sports center showed a closeup of it... Brian
Can't the publicize Spidey 2 by having Kirsten Dunst walk around with cars with the number of the inning while wearing a bikini? Kind of like ring girls in boxing.

Mr. Showtime
MLB actually listening to others? I'm shocked. A few senators even sent letters to Selig telling him this wasn't the best idea. Considering the feds are all over the BALCO thing, it's most likely in Selig's best interest to listen to them.
