Warner, who some rumored to be a June 1st cut, has restructured his current deal with St. Louis in order to facilitate this trade but the key ingredient for Warner is former Rams defensive coordinator, and current Chicago Head Coach, Lovie Smith. Though yet to be confirmed, our sources say that these rumors are running very strong and we should be seeing more information in the days ahead. Stay tuned to ProFootballCentral.comfor further confirmation on this developing story.

Hopefully this happens.  I can't imagine going into the season with 3 QBs who have less than 10 NFL starts COMBINED!!!

i hope it happens too but only for right $$$ and if kurt is willing to accept backup role (he wasn't too accepting in st. louie) if he is still playing like crap (compared to his superbowl years)...

Kurt Warner is not what the Bears need. Rex Grossman doesn't need to be lookin ova his shoulder all the time thinkin Kurt is goin to take his job, and I'm sure Kurt won't help him out as much as another veteran QB.

i'm not ready to put all my trust in grossman yet. should he be starting qb? yes. but i'd like to see what he does over the course of a full season before i say he's the only qb for us. besides a little competition never hurt no one. if kurt returns to his superbowl form i'd pick him over grossman anyday.

besides that our backups are quinn and krenzel... :puke

I think it's good trade. Basically the Rams are going to wind up with nothing so anything is better for them. I like having one experienced QB in the mix and Warner is as good as any of the others who are available. I can't see him winding anywhere else but Chicago or Dallas.

Dallas will be signin Vinny Testerverde when he's released from the Jets.

Sad thing is, that was as nice as I could be in a description of her.  :o

Not a problem because I feel the same way. How does Warner look when his wife is calling up sports radio stations and b****ing about how Kurt is being treated...sheesh I would have told her to leave that s*** alone and let me handle it. She made him look like such a spineless jelly fish in my eyes.

Exactly. It's one thing to be supportive, it's another to be an overbearing individual.

Q. What do you tell a woman with two black eyes?

A. Nothing you haven't told her before!

If you want to win in this league your #2 needs to be nearly as good as your #1.

There are 32 teams. There aren't 32 good quarterbacks to go around, let alone 64. Your #1 has to stay healthy if you want to win in this league. Who has a #2 that is just as good or nearly as good as their #1? Are you thinking about Joe Montana and Steve Young? Tom Brady and Drew Bledsoe? It never happens.

Exactly! Your #1 QB has to be good enough to win, your #2 QB has to be good enough not to lose.

Kurt is 32, Rex is 22, the Bears are still Grossman's team.

I think this would be a good pick up as long as they stay put on the Grossman is the starter no if, ands or buts. Remeber though guys, this has yet to be confirmed as anything actually happening and it could very likely not happen. As for now, I'm off to Indiana University for graduation so someone else might need to check up on this one.
