Flash Tizzle
Steve, seriously, DO NOT where any Sox or Anti-Cub clothing to the game. From today's Sun Times article (and listening to Cub fans call into the Score) they are insinuated it was a "Sox fan" who initiated the confrontation. Hatred is beginning to substantially increase among fans of both teams, and it wouldn't be wise to draw attention to yourself. :fthecubs
flippedoutpunk
they are blaming this incident on the "Sox fan" who wasn't supposed to be at Wrigley. Wow.. Thats got to be the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard. They just don't want to admit that the "Friendly Confines" aren't so friendly after the game when everyone is hammered. The Critic
I passed on freebies from someone at work today. Told them "no, thanks, that place is too dangerous - I'll go to USCF where I feel safe". I don't think I'll be offered those tickets again - maybe I should've saved my smart-aleck remark until after the Sox series at The Shrine, just in case? HA. SAVVY18
A guy at work was there yesterday and he was wearing his "Cubs SUCK" shirt. He couldn't believe the 'Party atmosphere' that was there, in spite of the incident. I was a little worried because he is a loudmouth that doesn't hold back. I say f*** 'em and wear your colors proudly.

They just don't want to admit that the "Friendly Confines" aren't so friendly after the game when everyone is hammered. Damn, guess I didn't edit my post quick enough. In fairness to the Sun-times they didn't say a Sox fan intiated the fight (my original post made it sound that way) It was only Cub fans who were calling into the Score this morning pointing the blame onto "outisde agitators." We all know how quick the average Cub fan is to shower blame on southsiders, but in this instance the sun-times just reported the news.* *Althought I do find it odd how the first sentence in a sun-times article describes the victim as a Sox fan. You almost get the impression that it was the first piece of information the media was looking for.

So using these 'fans' words, if a Cub fan was beat up at the Cell, it is justified? That's just stupid.
