aboz56
Emencio Pacheco Leaves Game Due to Shoulder Stiffness By: Alex Bozich May 8, 2004 FutureSox.com Louisville, KY - Knights pitcher Enemencio Pacheco left his start on May 8th versus the Louisville Bats after just 25 pitches after complaining of shoulder stiffness. Pacheco, making his first start of the season in place of the injured Ryan Kohlmeier, gave up four earned runs on a grand slam and recorded just two outs before leaving the game. After a brief delay in the game, Pacheco was replaced by Knights reliever Mitch Wylie as the Knights went on to fall to the Bats, 9-6. No further details were available on Pacheco's injury after the ballgame.

aboz56
After all that word of an exploding fastball from Pacheco from Baseball America, I saw nothing of the sort from him last night. After he gave up the grand slam, he was essentially done and then was pulled from the game after he came up holding his shoulder. Let's hope it's not serious as I know a few of you are high on Enemencio and his potential.
