hi8is
i wouldnt discount them yet, they just might have some sort of contention but THERE PITCHING DOES SUCK CAT BALLS
southsider2k5
I said it earlier this year Cleveland>Kansas City
DonkeyKongerko
It's all about starting pitching. Us and Minnesota are the only teams in this division with anything resembling a major league staff. Cleveland may join us in a couple years.
AssHatSoxFan
it helps that toronto also has a very weak pitching staff too
WSoxShuf
it helps that toronto also has a very weak pitching staff too except when we play them in toronto.
T R U
2nd worse team in the majors and damn near 10 games out... Im not worried about them unless they show some major signs

GoodAsGould
starting pitching right now im not sure but i would rate cleveland higher then we are with the cleveland games ive watched good thing their bullpen is worse then the royals starting pitching though
Reddy
i'm sick of teams in our division winning in the last inning!!! (well the ones that arent us!)
SoxFan1
Sox, Twins, Indians, Tigers > Royals
witesoxfan
So? They have NO shot with that pitching staff. They are going to have to catch lightning in a bottle about 3 or 4 times much like they did last year, and I don't see that happening again. BrandoFan
that GW 2-out, 2-run "double" by Sweeney was a disgrace. TB 3B totally misplayed a funky bounce on a routine groundball, mistimed his dive....ugh, what a mess. KC Royals have to stay burried. Last thing we need is for them to get some inspiration and get Mays, Anderson, Affeldt, Gobble, Lescanic, Mac and Sullivan on the roll. Then there will be less pressure on their offense and it's pretty potent when it's clicking. Don't discount them yet.
