danman31 Posted May 13, 2004 Share Posted May 13, 2004 Ya know the amazing thing about the first game is that as we see Diaz give up a ball right down the middle to Palmiero for a HR, it's amazing to think this guy didn't make one major mistake. Every pitcher in his ML debut has made major mistakes. There is no way the guy was that good. The Sox have never seen this guy pitch so they whiff on a fastball down the middle.
