DonkeyKongerko
Bottom 6 Harris grounded out to first. Carlos flew out to center. Beastly Gload singled to right. Frank walked. Valentin grounded out to first. End 6, 1-0 Uh-Oh's
Flash Tizzle
Here's a final: Minnesota beat Seattle 1-0. Can you f***ing believe that s***? Seattle can't do anything right this year. And either can we at this point in the game, this new pitcher is dominating.
Gene Honda Civic
Valentin couldn't hit Minor league pitching when he was on rehab assignment, I don't know what made ozzie think he would hit it today.
Whitewashed in '05
DAMN!!!!!! What the hell is going on man I'm tired of this new pitcher cy young crap.

flippedoutpunk
man we only have 2 hits on this guy? I guess we used up all our offense for the week with that 15-0 spanking we gave.
gettysburg32
Minnesota used 4 pitchers to combine for the shutout. Their closer, Joe Nathan, now has 10 saves and a 1.53 ERA. WHO THE f*** IS JOE NATHAN! And Seattle sucks, they're 12-22 now. :puke
Kid Gleason
I have to ask again: Do we have the same scouts as we have had for the past 5+ years? How can a team that has gone through so many changes with coaches and the manager still have the same problems with rookie pitchers and pitchers they have never seen? What is the deal with this? This has been the most consistent problem with the Sox since I can remember, and it is pathetic. Heck, every team in the majors just needs to call up their AAA pitchers when they go to face us and they have a garaunteed sweep!
flippedoutpunk
Garlands pitch count is starting to get Kerry Wood-like
Flash Tizzle
Eh, 2 out walk. There should be someone warming in that bullpen. I know we have another game coming up, but this is exactly the circumstances that lead to Garlands implosion. The first two outs in this inning were hard hit deep into the outfield. Only a matter of time before he gives up a jack, and we're completely out of this game
DonkeyKongerko
Top 7 Surhoff flew out to deep right. Gibbons lined out to center. Matos walked. Bigbie grounded out to second. 7th inning stretch, 1-

gettysburg32
That's 122 pitches for Garland. One more inning would equal 135-145, can't risk that.
Flash Tizzle
Cabrera is gone, its time to win this game for Garland. Oh s***, Lopez is pitching in relief.
gettysburg32
Rodrigo Lopez in for Cabrera. Line for Cabrera 6 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 3 BB, 3 K, 91 pitches (thanks for taking him out)
Gene Honda Civic
Don't look now, but JG, who had an ERA of 3.94 over his final 20 starts last season, has lowered his ERA to 3.97 in his 7 starts this season. --

You can understand trying to pitch Garland as long as possible. Diaz is pitching in Game 2, and nobody knows how far he's going to pitch into the game. Need that bullpen refreshed, but playing in a run one game isn't exactly the time to blowoff your best relievers. If we get this lead, I expect to see Politte and Marte.
