elrockinMT
Jackson gives up a 2 strike double. Things aren't looking good for us today.
poccer
Diaz is lucky that he did not give up more runs than he did today. The O's hit a lot of balls right at Sox players. KW needs to go out and get another pitcher for the Sox if they want to contendwith the best team of grinders you can find, the Twins. Mr. Showtime
Diaz looked good to me, O's just caught up to him. However, Sox need to start trading some of these pitching prospects.
WHarris1
Ball 4. God damn, I am just thinking about going into the Twins series 2 GB. Oh god please no!
CWSGuy406
I know I shouldn't have, but I wanted Diaz to come up here today and really show something - just fool hitters. He wasn't terrible - he threw strikes, but he left one too many up in the zone. At Charlotte, and maybe even some of the teams in the bigs, you can get away with that. Not against a good hitting team like the Orioles though. Let's hope MJ can strap it down, and then our offense can WAKE THE f*** UP!!!! Flash Tizzle
So Diaz basically blew up this inning? How did he look before this? Retired 11 of 12 before the Garland-esque implosion.
WHarris1
2 outs.
elrockinMT
Palmeiro walks after two quick strikes from Jackson. Where is the killer instinct?
danman31
The skies look very dark where I am (20 miles west of the Cell) but im not sure that will get there in time... Heck the skies are dark at the park. They put the lights on and it's only 5:20......
CWSGuy406
Alright guys, Im going downstairs, turning the internet off. We need three runs next inning. Come on guys... LETS GO!
WHarris1
Popped him up! Good job Jackson. Let's go offense get 3 and pick up Diaz!
DonkeyKongerko
At least he threw strikes. Give me a 5th starter who is not afraid to throw strikes any time over Dan Wright. If anything Diaz probably threw too many strikes which is not as serious a problem as Dan Wright.
KipWellsFan
Heck the skies are dark at the park. They put the lights on and it's only 5:20...... They'll do the absolute darndest to get 3 more outs to make the game official.
elrockinMT
Alright Jackson! He did show the killer instinct. Must have just needed some wd-40 sprayed on his elbow to loosen up or something.
Flash Tizzle
Here in the south suburbs the rain is steadily coming down........ If only Diaz would of lasted one more inning befor serving up the three homeruns. :puke

I sure can appreciate what you are syaing, but giving up 4 homers in a game before you through the 5th inning is not a good sign. It will be interesting to see if they give him another start. My guess is though that they probably will.
Flash Tizzle
No way the Sox are ready to play the Twins. If they trudge through the weekend like this you can expect them to be 3- 4 games out.

It's early Diaz was good We know how to win -- 1-run game record and all. Greg Walker is worth a damn.
Flash Tizzle
Lee flies out to left to end the 5th inning. The game is now official, which means the rain will now begin to pour.
