whitesoxin'
1, 2, 3 inning for Loaiza. He appears to be on tonight.
southsider2k5
Esteban looks really sharp so far. Hopefully that bodes well for us.
flippedoutpunk
GGrrr wheres Juan?? He's going to forget how to hit by the time we get him back in our lineup.
whitesoxin'
I dont understand why the number 3 hitter in leauge is watching the game on the bench. Are we trying to make him just as cold as the guys out on the field now???? Ozzie has been acting stupid lately...
poccer
Uribe has been our catalyst all season. Of course, that means he doesn't play vs our biggest rival in the first two games. Also, Willie has got to stop faking the bunt and getting himself into a hole like he has been. He's making himself a much easier out. whitesoxin'
Not sure if It has been talked about yet, but I have a feeling, if things get ugly, like a 8-10 game losing streak this season, Ozzie could get really ugly and un-freindly. I see Ozzie going on like a media stirke or something like Frank is doing now if things got ugly. I don't think it's possible for a team with this type of offense to go on an 8-10 game losing streak. Weird play there with Offerman going into third and Hunter gets thrown out at first. One out, runner on third.
whitesoxin'
2 outs as the Twins couldn't get Offerman home with less than 2 outs.
poccer
Rowand continues to be poor in the field. How long until the Sox get an upgrade in CF? It seems like since Singleton's break-thru season, the Sox have been well below average with their CF talent.
whitesoxin'
Dont be so sure about our offense. Have you seen us the last 2 weeks. I guess I have to go back to the argument that when the weather heats up, so will our bats. If that's the case, May is here and the weather should stay warm. I would be very shocked if they went on a losing streak like that. I mean maybe 2-3 games with little offense, but 8-10? No way IMO. 3 outs, Esty gets out of a jam. Wise Master Buehrle
Cy Greisenger has our number today. Good game.
poccer
What was that by Carlos? Did anyone see the two swings he took...he barely swung the bat. It looked like he was taking practice swings. During the game is no time to work on things.
southsider2k5
Geesh. This is real easy. If they are going to pitch you the other way, you go to right and right center. how hard is that????

southsider2k5
ELo with an easy 1-2-3 3rd. Looks like runs will be at a premium tonight. Hopefully we can hit this guy the 2nd or 3rd time through the line up.
poccer
This game shows one of the reasons we need Uribe in the line-up. He's one of the few Sox players who doesnt try to hit a homer on every pitch. Between Maggs, Frank, Crede, Konerko, and Lee, the Sox have too much of a homer or fly-out offense.
Wise Master Buehrle
Guess what hitters 1-8! Opposite field DOES work! Amazing new discovery! All players should now take heed to this new discovery, immediately.

southsider2k5
Willie draws a walk, behind Olivo stealing 2nd. Harris has done a great job of working counts, even after getting down 0-2 . So of course Jose pops out on the first pitch :banghead
Wise Master Buehrle
Looks like stranded baserunners will be our death again. Also looks like we'll have to wait till after the Allstar Break to heat up again. Great.
danman31
The Sox are so anti-clutch against the Twins. I'd rather watch paint dry than watch this team play like they did last year against the Twins. Oh God, I want to punch something just thinking of those series. :puke

Confederate_48
Loaiza said in an article he felt alot better throwing this week and expected to pitch like he did last year. So far so good it seems.
