qwerty
i know that he spent some time in the big leagues with the tigers and hit very poorly
DBAHO
Andres Torres, was picked up from the Tigers AAA team about a month ago. He's leading off now instead of Nelson and hittin nicely for average. Pretty much sent Bikowski down with his performance. He's 25 or 26 so not much of a prospect.
Heads22
He plays for the Tigers or Toledo on MVP....everything's much easier to understand with MVP.....lol...
southsider2k5
Actually after knowing some people in the Tigers org, this kid gets pretty rave reviews. Sounds like he can fly, but is going to be a AAAA hitter.
Guest JimH
He's very fast and good defensively. Replacement for Aaron Rowand perhaps?
Rex Hudler
He's very fast and good defensively. Replacement for Aaron Rowand perhaps? He could be a temporary stopgap if Jeremy Reed is hurting or struggles.
The Beast
He's very fast and good defensively. Replacement for Aaron Rowand perhaps? Good to hear from JimH against Here is a little backround info on Andres Torres: He is a career .214 hitter :puke He has 8 career SB's and 7 have been CS...shows how poorly and risky he is on the fly. Takes 16 bb's compared to 51 career strikeouts. Enough said, I'd still have Rowand in center as a backup and would rather have Harris in center. danman31
Torres also 42 stolen bases in 54 attemps in 115 game for AAA Toledo in 2002 and 27 steals in 38 attempts for Toledo in 2003. He is not a guy that is supposed to hit the ball, but he damn well better run well. He could be a decent 40 man call up for some extra speed.
