BrandoFan
Barret hit a weak chopper to 3B. 3 years ago Alfonzo throws him out, but he's just safe. On the same night as Unit Perfection....Mercy!
SoxAce
What a game thrown by him. Just under 140 pitches and he got the job done. Nicely done Jason + Randy of course.

As the innings went on he went from 93-94 to 95-97 in the latter innnings. That's the kind of a pitcher Sox could use in the playoffs. BrandoFan
Talk about a rubber arm Ok I will: Sam McDowell once threw 275 pitches in a single game. What made it even more impressive is that he did it on a 3-day rest and many of the pitches were 93-95+ mph heaters and sharp breakers. The Critic
Ron Santo said something that made me LOL, because he was apparently serious when he said: "I'll tell you what, Alfonso was 20 feet in foul territory when he threw that ball to first......he'd have gotten me out if I was running...." Well, YEAH, he'd have gotten you, Ron - you have TWO PROSTHETIC LEGS.
WSox30
Should've been a third strike on pitch before and I couldn't really see it on BBTN cuz of the bottom line, but they said he might've been out.
