SoxAce
That's the best news I've heard today. What a relief..
whitesoxin'
That's good to hear, especially after all that has been happening on the north side.
SnB
Very good news, the sox have been EXTREMELY lucky so far this year.....keep your fingers crossed.
Dick Allen
According to AM1000, neither is in the line-up tonight, but will be in uniform.

Great to hear its not serious though
southsider2k5
According to AM1000, neither is in the line-up tonight, but will be in uniform. They also said both are available for PH duty, if needed.

His ability to fly around the bases is his best feature, and with injured legs, he won't be doing much running, correct? With that being said, Willie will have a good seat for watching the game. Something that makes him a good PHer if needed... A lefty who hits over .300?
SoxAce
It also said "if needed." I doubt we'll see both of them tonight. Plus, even with an injured leg, Willie is still faster than half the players on the team. Also, Ordonez's power and solid hits are essensial, but I don't think the sox will need that (hopefully not) in tonight's game with that Twins lineup.. Just my 2 cents. witesoxfan
Something that makes him a good PHer if needed... A lefty who hits over .300? He's hitting over .300 all year, but more importantly, he's hitting .343 with an OPS of over .800 against RHP(and for a leadoff hitter that's just supposed to get on base, and not be a slugging-type, that's pretty f***ing good). So I retract that statement. If we need him to come in and hit for Rowand(who's hitting .188 against RHP), do it in a second. That's the only person Willie should PH for though.
