What's Wakefield's fastball like?

It's weak, like most knuckleballers fastballs are.

If I had to guess, I'd say high 70s, low 80s. Don't count on that though.

Personally...just the thought of facing a good knuckleballer makes me almost want to s*** my pants. When that knuckler dances, I bet it is damn near impossible to hit it. With Shingo, you have a shot, at the very least.

Either way...both are tough as hell. Just glad the Sox have both of them(of course, the RED Sox have Wakefield)

I think that I'd rather face Wakefield if his fastball is that weak. I was thinking that maybe he could get it up to 85 MPH, but if it's more like 78-82 MPH, then forget about it. Shingo can hit you with that 87 or 88 MPH fastball and then follow it up with a 65 MPH change-curve, or vice versa. That is insane.

Why was this guy so horrible in Spring Training?

31,000 f***ers saw the Twins get their ass handed to them tonight, hell yeah. Great job tonight boys. Wish I could've seen it (mlb.com tv was down for the whole league tonight). 3 or 4 of 4 is a hell of a series in the Twinkiedome, let's do it again tomorrow night. B) :cheers

Great day for Chicago baseball, as the Cubs lost earlier today as well!!!

What a great game to listen to on the radio while filling out employment applications online! Rooney and Farmer sounded like they were enjoying themselves, and rightfully so! With blowouts in their last three games, four for the week, this offense is becoming something that our opposition should FEAR like their worst nightmare! A team usually commits errors when they are scared. Minnesota is looking scared out there now that they are actually playing a team who's at least their equal, and it's showing by all of their errors. I'll take all of those errors, though, especially when the Sox capitalize on them, which they are doing.

Let's keep it going, and go Neal Cotts tomorrow!!!
